Our client is a market-leading joinery specialist renowned for creating bespoke kitchens, cabinetry, and furniture for discerning private clients and design professionals. Operating from a purpose-built workshop in Penn Street, Buckinghamshire, they deliver individually tailored joinery pieces of the highest quality, combining traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.
Are you the right person for the job?
Minimum 2 years' experience in bespoke joinery or fitted furniture technical design
Proficient in SolidWorks, with experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings
Knowledge of SWOOD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and a methodical, problem-solving approach
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Passionate about technical design and maintaining high-quality standards
What will your role look like?
Collaborate with other technical and design team members to detail bespoke joinery projects
Produce accurate 3D models, shop drawings, and manufacturing packs using SolidWorks/SWOOD
Create detailed specifications for procurement, manufacture, and client sign-off
Identify and resolve production or installation challenges early in the process
Maintain and update technical drawings, 3D models, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Provide technical advice and support to concept and sales designers
Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical processes and CAD standards
