My client based in Dukinfield requires FLT Reach and Counterbalance drivers with a valid in-date UK licence.
The role will require the following duties:
1. Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy industrial environments
2. Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
3. Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
4. Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
5. Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
6. Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
7. Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport
8. Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures
9. Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods
The role also involves operating the coating machine, coordinating materials, carrying out quality checks, and providing support and assistance to the Senior Operator with the day-to-day running of the Coating Machine.
The hours of work are rotating 07:00-15:00 / 10:00-18:00.
