Permanent, Part Time 18.5 hours per week.


Overview

Are you passionate about the power and potential of the community and voluntary sector in Bristol? We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a head for systems and processes, and a passion for community power and social justice to help grow community power through the Communities Service.


Key Responsibilities

* Manage grants, projects and programmes, strengthening them using effective systems, planning and data.
* Develop and deliver projects with a strategic mindset, ensuring effective online engagement and use of current internet trends.
* Communicate effectively through presentations, written reports and sharing stories of impact.
* Facilitate and build positive relationships with a wide range of partners to deliver projects and shape the future of Can Do Bristol.
* Ensure an understanding of how inequity, prejudice and discrimination work and commit to bringing about meaningful change.
* Work flexibly, including some evening and weekend hours, to support the working week and allow flexi time.
* Manage the Can Do Bristol website to build a thriving community and voluntary sector in Bristol.
* Adopt office‑based working while supporting remote collaboration.


Qualifications & Experience

* Proactive and detail‑oriented with project management experience.
* Strategic mindset with good understanding of IT and knowledge of online engagement.
* Experience in facilitating and engaging with partners and stakeholders.
* Commitment to equity, inclusion and social justice.
