We are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary who has worked in General Practice.
We would prefer someone that could work at least 30 hours per week but could be flexible for the right person.
Main duties of the job
Typingreferrals, private letters, reports and other documents.
Liaising withexternal agencies such as hospitals and community services.
Processprivate applications for claims, benefits, insurances and SARS. Keepingspreadsheet up to date for all private work undertaken
Regularlycheck and maintain email inbox
Maintainaccurate referral and medical report spreadsheets
Use ofmultiple systems EMIS, DOCMAN, ERS, IGPR, ACCURX
Deal withpatient telephone enquiries in an efficient, polite and professional manner
About us
We are a semi rural practice based in High Wycombe. We have a list size of approx 7000 patients.
We have 3 partners, 2 nurses, 2 HCA's and PCN staff that consist of a Paramedic, Physio, 2 Clinical Pharmacists and a GPA, as well as our admin team.
