Introduction
At Morvern Group, we’re shaping the future of investment casting. Through innovation across tooling, ceramic cores, wax injection, and dynamic profile machining, we deliver precise, integrated solutions trusted by the world’s leading aerospace and industrial gas turbine customers.
We’re seeking a Process Engineer to join our team supporting both Tarpey Wax and Tarpey Ceramics in Denby, UK — playing a vital role in advancing our processes, product integrity, and customer satisfaction.
About the Role
As a Process Engineer, you’ll take ownership of components and process improvement projects from concept through completion. Working collaboratively with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams, you’ll help drive continuous improvement, deliver production excellence, and ensure every part meets the rigorous standards of our customers in the aerospace and industrial gas turbine sectors.
In this role, you will:
* Coordinate the design, development, and testing of components and equipment through the full product lifecycle.
* Perform risk assessments, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Conduct technical analyses and feasibility studies to inform engineering decisions.
* Take ownership for product conformity and process validation.
* Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
* Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring a balance of analytical thinking and hands-on engineering expertise — with a desire to see your work through from design to finished component.
We’re looking for someone with:
* A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering or a related field.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Solid organisational and time management skills.
* Prior experience in precision manufacturing, aerospace, or turbine component production (preferred but not essential).
