Job Overview

As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. Your work behind the scenes will directly shape how guests feel during their stay, helping them relax, feel cared for and truly at home. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to agreed standards, ensuring each space is presented with care and attention to detail. By working calmly, efficiently and consistently within set timeframes, you will help maintain the high standards our guests expect and trust.


Company Overview

With its royal history, splendid architecture, and superbly central location, the Carlisle Station Hotel, part of the Sure Collection By Best Western, is one of the most desirable places to stay in Cumbria's capital. This striking Victorian building is paired with modern, boutique interiors. The hotel features 70 comfortable bedrooms, including family rooms and singles. It also boasts a stunning Victorian ballroom that can host up to 180 guests, and 5 versatile meeting rooms accommodating up to 220 delegates.


Responsibilities

* Clean and service guest bedrooms and public areas to company standards within allocated timeframes.
* Follow agreed cleaning and presentation standards for all room categories.
* Report any damages, maintenance issues or breakages promptly to ensure repairs can be carried out.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in linen rooms, cupboards and working areas.
* Return all cleaning equipment to designated storerooms at the end of each shift.
* Work safely and responsibly, following hygiene and health & safety guidelines.
