What do we expect from you?
* Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the South East Asian Countries market in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including sales managers, account executives, and sales support staff, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and focused on achieving sales targets.
* Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, expanding the customer base, and nurturing key accounts in geographies - Singapore (majorly), Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Philippines.
* Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt the sales strategy accordingly.
* Sales Operations: Oversee all aspects of sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, order processing, and customer inquiries to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Customer Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, addressing their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with products and services.
* Sales Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics, such as sales targets, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and customer lifetime value, to assess and improve sales team performance.
* Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget for South East Asian Countries, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
* Reporting and Analytics: Generate regular sales reports and provide insights to the executive team, enabling data-driven decision-making.
* Sales Training and Development: Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team, keeping them up-to-date with industry trends and product updates.
* Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all sales activities comply with local and national regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
You’re a great fit if you already meet the following prerequisites:
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred, with 12-15 years of sales experience in SEA regions.
* Experience in managing and scaling sales teams (minimum of 5 members).
* Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Proven track record of success in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in a SaaS industry.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and business culture.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
* Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
* Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Ability to travel as required, 25%-50%.
