Thank you for considering joining our trust. We are privileged to be the CEOs of the Brighter Futures Learning Partnership Trust (BFLPT) and to work with like-minded headteachers, leaders, staff, and board members who understand the importance of education for life chances and social mobility. The BFLPT Board aims to establish a high-performing multi-academy Trust that provides exceptional learning experiences for all children, young people, and staff. We believe collaboration is key to creating a strong educational foundation for success.
Joining our Trust offers a unique opportunity as it includes a diverse range of successful schools: four Doncaster primary schools, an infant school, an 11-16 secondary school (Hungerhill), and Doncaster University Technical College. Hungerhill School has a legacy of collaboration and strong student outcomes, recognized locally and nationally. Doncaster UTC, opened in 2020, features a state-of-the-art building and a curriculum focused on engineering and technology, earning multiple awards and recognition as a flagship school by Baker Dearing Trust. We are expanding with a second UTC specializing in Green Technologies and Healthcare Sciences. We also offer extensive professional development opportunities for staff.
Since September 2021, we have implemented a new Primary Knowledge Curriculum across all primary and infant schools, with a focus on mathematics mastery and projects supported by the South Yorkshire Maths Hubs.
Our Ofsted reports have consistently rated our schools as good or better, highlighting improved student outcomes through shared leadership and resources. Our dedicated support staff and investment in staff development are fundamental to our success.
We participate in a network of schools reshaping curricula based on research and cognitive science to accelerate progress. We employ Ofsted-trained consultants to support subject leaders and provide bespoke training for staff, fostering professional growth. Our teacher development programs and staff performance systems encourage colleagues to thrive and develop, with clear expectations to ensure confidence and competence in their roles. We also support staff in further professional development, aiming for excellence across the Trust.
The successful candidate will be based across the trust, as directed by the CEO/Deputy CEO and Director of School Improvement.
