About the service
Tazetta Suite is an exciting service to be part of. We work within a specialist multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality care to patients experiencing acute mental illness. Successful applicants must be able to work in a challenging and dynamic environment. You will need to demonstrate a range of skills including effective communication, strong leadership skills, empathy, self-awareness, resilience and critical self-reflection skills. You will need to be passionate about mental health and supporting patients. It is important to be committed to working within a multi professional team as well as possessing excellent communication, risk assessment and care planning skills.
Responsibilities
* Support a small team of staff members including Band 5 RMNs and HCAs, ensuring their supervision needs are met.
* Develop and enhance staff skills, competences and confidence within the changing clinical setting through coaching and e-learning.
* Lead in quality improvements and assist with maintaining high quality standards within the ward.
Qualifications and skills
* Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD).
* Strong leadership, communication, risk assessment and care planning skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a multi-professional team; empathetic, self-aware, resilient and reflective.
Support and development
We are looking for ambitious staff with the desire for self-development. We offer regular management supervision and developmental opportunities. You will be welcomed by the Ward Manager and other Deputy Ward Managers, all with extensive experience in their areas of expertise.
