Applications are invited for a position of Communications & Events Coordinator in the School of Government and International Affairs at Durham University.
The Communications & Events Coordinator will work with Research Centres in SGIA to help organise and arrange Conferences during Easter Term. Work with members across the School to plan, publicise and deliver a range of events and activities, keeping to agreed budgets.
Liaise with others to coordinate event logistics such as venue hire, invitations etc. Create content for various communications methods, consulting with colleagues before publishing/posting where necessary. Develop communication templates for use within the School, for example emails, webpages and social media posts. Plan and prioritise own work, adhering to agreed deliverables and timeframes.
