We’re proud to be partnering with one of Oxfordshire’s finest culinary destinations, a 4-star inn with an award-winning 3 Rosette restaurant that champions organic, local produce and sustainability. Set in the heart of the countryside, this independently run gem is known for its refined, seasonal menus and relaxed yet polished hospitality.
They’re now on the lookout for a Senior Sous Chef with a strong fine dining background to join their small, passionate team and play a key role in delivering outstanding food that’s full of creativity and flavour.

1. £40,000 per annum plus circa £12,000 service charge
2. Working 3 doubles and 2 singles per week
3. Working with a dedicated team in a 3 Rosette, sustainability-focused kitchen
4. Fresh, locally sourced and organic produce, including from their own smallholding
5. Creative input into menus and dishes
6. Career progression and mentoring from a respected Head Chef
Responsibilities as the Senior Sous Chef…
7. Supporting the Head Chef in leading the brigade and running the kitchen day to day
8. Delivering beautifully presented, high-quality dishes with consistency and care
9. Contributing to menu development and seasonal changes
10. Overseeing stock, ordering, and kitchen organisation
11. Training, mentoring, and inspiring junior team members
12. Maintaining exceptional food hygiene and safety standards
This role is ideal for a talented and driven Senior Sous Chef (or ambitious Sous Chef) with experience in 3 Rosette or Michelin-level kitchens, looking to thrive in a nurturing, independent environment with serious culinary ambition.
