We’re on the lookout for calm, confident Behaviour Support Assistants to work in Huddersfield schools this September. These are short-term roles—perfect if you're looking to gain experience, build school relationships, or make a difference without a long-term commitment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting pupils with behavioural needs, either 1:1 or in small groups
* Building trust and promoting positive choices
* Working alongside SENCOs, class teachers, and pastoral teams
* Helping to create a calm, focused learning environment
What schools are looking for:
* Someone with patience, empathy, and clear boundaries
* Experience in behaviour support, youth work, or SEND (desirable but not essential)
* A team player who stays cool under pressure
* Someone who shows up, listens, and genuinely wants to help
