Senior Benefits Manager – Manchester


Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office

Our client is a leading global organisation in its field, seeking a Senior Benefits Manager to shape and elevate its benefits offering across multiple regions. Operating within a complex, international environment, the organisation is committed to delivering a modern, inclusive, and competitive employee experience.


This newly expanded role sits at the centre of the firm’s reward agenda. You will refine and advance the benefits strategy, oversee operational excellence, and act as a senior advisor to leadership teams across jurisdictions. The position offers the opportunity to influence policy, strengthen governance, drive market‑aligned innovation, and enhance the experience of a diverse global workforce.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead the development and continuous evolution of the global benefits strategy, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with workforce expectations.
* Oversee benefits programme governance and delivery, maintaining strong controls, resilient processes, and high‑quality service across all markets.
* Manage vendor, broker, and provider relationships, driving value for money, financial accuracy, and effective contract oversight.
* Lead annual enrolment cycles and insurance renewals, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless execution.
* Use data and analytics to inform decisions, report on utilisation, and demonstrate impact and ROI to senior stakeholders.
* Support and lead benefits-related projects, including new programme launches, policy updates, and global alignment initiatives.


Candidate Profile

* Extensive experience in benefits management at a global or multi‑regional level.
* Strong technical understanding of benefits governance, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks, including GDPR.
* Proven ability to translate employee insights, market intelligence, and emerging trends into practical, high‑impact programmes.
* Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
* Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills, with confidence operating across multiple geographies and cultures.
* A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing employee experience.
