We are a busy dispensing GP Practice looking for a Patient Services Advisor to join our existing team. The environment is fast paced and can be challenging but if this appeals to you, and you are looking for a longer-term career with the potential to develop and learn new skills then read on.
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, flexible, person with excellent customer care skills who can make a difference to the needs of the patients. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, together with the ability to work well under pressure.

The successful candidate will r be working 37.5 hours per week and will work a range of shifts (for example 08:00am – 13:00pm or 13.00pm -18.30pm). Overtime is required to cover sickness and annual leave.

Your main duties will include:
* Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries and booking/cancellation appointments
* Front desk duties such as greeting patients and dealing with enquiries
* Issuing medication from repeat templates
* Taking accurate messages
* Managing correspondence
* Inputting and extracting information from internal systems
* General Admin Duties
* Contacting patients on the recall data base (e.g. Patients who may require a medication review etc.)
* Training will be given if required.

We are a rural Practice with an ever increasing patient list size of just over 6,000. We have 3 GP's, 3 Nurse Practitioners, 4 Practice Nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistant, Phlebotomist, Care Coordinator, MSK Practitioner and are superbly supported by our Patient Service Advisors, Dispensary and Administration teams. We are a friendly group of people who believe that patient centred care is at the heart of everything we do.
We are located in Stickney between the market towns of Boston and Spilsby.
