Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for: Managing daily bank reconciliations and supporting cash flow forecasting Assisting in building cash flow templates and providing timely management accounts information Completing balance sheet reconciliations and meeting month-end deadlines Handling data entry and invoice management Supporting month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and posting journals Preparing quarterly VAT returns and assisting with the annual audit Getting involved in ad hoc projects What you will need: AAT qualification (minimum), with ongoing ACCA or CIMA studies preferred Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or Management Accounts Assistant Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) A proactive, confident, and driven approach—ready to learn, support others, and thrive in a team environment What you will get: Study support to help you progress your qualifications 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, with a holiday purchase scheme Private healthcare Company contribution pension scheme Onsite parking Access to a savings and discounts platform Flexible working hours A genuinely supportive, non-micromanaged culture where your development is a priority If you would like to find out more about this role, please apply with your CV or LinkedIn PDF.
