dhBorders Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Business & Administrative Support Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong administrative and analytical skills to support a busy office environment and contribute to the development of internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create financial and statistical reports using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
2. Manage electricity accounts, review contracts, and apply financial forecasting and risk analysis
3. Enter data into the accounts system including purchase orders, goods receipting, invoicing, and delivery notes
4. Communicate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and customers
5. Provide general administrative support across the business
6. Assist in improving IT systems and business models, including configuration and testing
7. Interpret instructions and implement actions in line with company procedures
8. Conduct research to support strategic decision-making
9. Organise and participate in meetings and project activities
10. Adhere to health & safety and quality management procedures
11. Ensure proper use and care of equipment and materials
12. Engage in ongoing personal development and training
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
13. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
14. Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
16. Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
17. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (grades A–C desirable)
18. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
19. Logical and analytical thinking with a proactive attitude
20. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
21. Own transport arrangements due to location
