Are you passionate about helping children thrive in their learning? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Irlam is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from April.
In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality learning across the curriculum. You’ll provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping to foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment where every child feels supported academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
* Support teachers with the delivery of creative, engaging lessons and help maintain a purposeful learning atmosphere
* Provide personalised support to individual pupils and small groups throughout lessons and intervention sessions
* Promote a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that supports both learning and wellbeing
* Encourage pupils’ emotional development through positive interactions and consistent support
* Assist with planning, preparing learning materials, and carrying out administrative tasks
* Lead targeted interventions for pupils with additional learning needs
* Build effective working relationships with colleagues, parents, and external agencies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
