About Us
Pet Nutrition (PN) is the most vibrant category in the FMCG sector. As we embark on an exciting journey to transform this category, our new program, Digital First, is at the forefront. This initiative places pet parents at the heart of everything we do, while digitalizing various business processes and creating future-ready capabilities to achieve ambitious targets in growth and pet parent satisfaction.
Your Role
As part of the Digital First agenda, we are transitioning to a Product-based model to enhance our digital capabilities. You will:
* Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and storage solutions to support analytics and machine learning initiatives.
* Report to the Director of Data Engineering Solutions and collaborate globally with engineering teams across core products.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Leadership: Provide strong guidance to data engineers and DevOps engineers, acting as a thought partner in designing scalable data platforms.
* Engineering Standards and Frameworks: Define and evolve data engineering standards that ensure consistency and quality across solutions.
* DataOps Enablement and Optimization: Drive the adoption of modern DataOps principles to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
* Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Embed governance and data quality practices into workflows, ensuring trust in data assets.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with PN D&A leadership and product owners to align data priorities for maximum value.
What You Bring
* Expertise in Commercial/Procurement Analytics.
* Experience with SAP (S/4 Hana) and data processing tools like Spark and Databricks.
* Strong technical skills in data modeling, SQL, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing.
* Hands-on experience with data pipeline development and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
* Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Experience with DataOps practices and tools, including CI/CD for data pipelines.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a knack for collaboration.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive actionable insights.
