With continued emphasis on governance, performance, and sustainable growth, the business is strengthening its senior leadership team. As part of this, they are seeking a Finance Director to provide strategic financial leadership and support decision-making at executive level. The Role Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board, the Finance Director will take ownership of the organisation’s financial strategy, control, and performance insight. The role combines high-level strategic input with strong oversight of financial operations, governance, and stakeholder engagement within a regulated setting. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver the financial strategy aligned with business objectives Act as a key advisor to the CEO and Board, providing clear financial insight and challenge Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and risk management frameworks Lead statutory reporting, audit processes, and regulatory compliance Manage capital planning, liquidity, and balance sheet strength Oversee management reporting and performance analysis Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and advisers Candidate Profile ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified Senior finance leadership experience within financial services or a regulated environment Strong technical accounting and regulatory knowledge Proven ability to operate at Board and executive level Commercially minded with a strong control and governance focus Confident communicator with experience managing complex stakeholders
