Health & Safety Officer Permanent Role | Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Considered) Were looking for a proactive and organised Health & Safety Officer to join a growing engineering and industrial services business delivering specialist robotic solutions across heavy industry. This is a hands-on role where youll take ownership of health & safety across offices, workshops, and customer sites, helping create a strong safety culture while supporting exciting operational projects across the UK and beyond. Youll work closely with leadership and operational teams to ensure high standards are maintained, risks are managed effectively, and projects are delivered safely and efficiently. What Youll Be Doing Acting as the main point of contact for all Health & Safety matters Promoting a practical and positive safety culture across the business Developing and maintaining H&S policies, procedures, RAMS, and safe systems of work Supporting operational teams on customer and project sites Managing training records, certifications, inspections, and compliance activities Coordinating audits, inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvements Delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings, and H&S communications Ensuring compliance with UK legislation and client requirements Supporting emergency preparedness activities including fire drills and first aid arrangements What Were Looking For Essential NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) or higher Experience working in Health & Safety within operational, engineering, industrial, or site-based environments Experience creating RAMS and safety documentation Strong organisation and communication skills Comfortable working with site teams and operators Willingness to travel to project locations (higher rate pay) Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Positive, hands-on attitude with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Desirable Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental or related discipline Experience conducting audits and inspections Additional H&S qualifications or specialist training Experience within engineering, manufacturing, workshop, or industrial environments Experience with training coordination or competency frameworks Why Apply?
