This newly created role offers an opportunity to step into a strategic position while maintaining a hands-on leadership presence at operational level. With a clear and defined pathway to Director level, this opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded operations professional who is ready to take ownership of delivery, drive growth, and influence change within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Head of Production will be responsible for leading and managing all day-to-day operations across multiple factories, overseeing production planning and execution while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. As part of the senior management team, the successful candidate will take full accountability for a suite of KPIs and work in close partnership with the Directors to enhance performance across the board. This includes implementing and evolving the systems, structures, and processes needed to deliver on the organisations strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate day-to-day production operations across all sites, including capacity planning, production, supply chain, health and safety, quality assurance, engineering, and warehousing. Ensure that technical capability and production capacity meet the demands of strategic growth and profit targets. Partner with the Board to develop and deliver a forward-looking production strategy that supports sustainable, profitable growth. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers to support continuity and resolve any operational issues as they arise. Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver results, while recognising and developing talent for the future. Required Experience: Extensive experience in a senior manufacturing or production role, with proven responsibility for leading and developing high-performing teams. A track record of managing multi-functional teams, delivering measurable improvements across key performance areas, and driving staff engagement. Demonstrated success in leading the implementation of process improvements, operational efficiencies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels internally and externally.
