Overview

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. Start date in summer 2026, full time, fixed term for 12 months, fully site based at Robin Rigg in Workington.

About the role

* Gain valuable knowledge and experience of:
o the day to day running of an operational wind park
o Practical experience of Offshore Engineering and working on turbines
o developing and implementing engineering policies and procedures relevant for operations
o overseeing the allocated project from initial stage to completion
o tasks which support strategic engineering and commercial decision-making
* Assist the team e.g. with:
o contributing to the planning, scheduling and delivery of maintenance works to optimize cost and plant performance
o delivering selected engineering projects for the Offshore wind farm Robin Rigg. Projects will be allocated based upon your engineering degree and experience


Job requirements and experience

* You´re an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement
* You have very good verbal and written communication skills
* You´re able to coordinate your own workload and to meet tight deadlines
* Working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders every day is something you feel comfortable with

Because of the site’s location, candidates must either drive or reside within a reasonable commuting distance
