Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 3:45pm
30-minute lunch break

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join a busy operations team. This role is key to ensuring customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and on time, while balancing production capacity, materials, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
Ensure on-time delivery of manufactured components
Identify and resolve production flow constraints through sustainable solutions
Develop and implement capacity and production plans
Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Sales and Finance teams
Maintain and improve ERP system accuracy and resolve system-related issues
Support supply and demand planning, including engineering changes
Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies
Produce and report on daily production metrics
Facilitate daily production meetings
Skills and Experience
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving ability
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Solid understanding of production planning principles, including scheduling, capacity planning and shop floor control
Experience with ERP systems (Infor Syteline desirable but not essential)
