Starter Training Courses are part of your Induction.
Advanced Training Courses - They are included as part of your progression prospects if required to advance to more experienced positions such as Team Leader, Supervisor, Head Waitress, Managerial Roles etc.
Shifts Examples:
* 40-45hrs a week made up of 8 shifts
* Food served: Mon - Sat: 12pm-3pm & 6pm-9pm / Sun: 12pm-7pm
* Day shift: 11.30am - 4pm
* Evening shift: 5.30pm - Close pm (approximatively - so no late lockups)
Responsibilities & Duties:
* Greet customers & provide excellent customer service
* Take food & beverage orders accurately & deliver to customers
* Answer questions about our menus & make recommendations
* Cash handling, keep track of receipts & gratuities, cashing up at the end of the business day
* Opening & closing the business
* Support the Senior Management team in daily operations and decision making
* Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, health & safety standards
* Training our waiting staff to a high standard & maintain these standards
* Hosting & expediting shifts to ensure smooth running
* Help organise special events
* Create & post social media content
* Setting tables & rearranging the dining area to accommodate for larger bookings/special occasions
Experience:
· Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is desirable.
· Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
· Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
· A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
