We are currently recruiting for a Cashier to join our team in Aldridge.
As a Cashier your role will involve:
* Prepare and action receipts and payments using our IPS software, and online banking system (predominantly Metro, but also legacy HSBC client account).
* Ensuring compliance with our cashiering policy.
* Using our Virtual Cabinet system, and filing accordingly.
* Liaising with staff in the Aldridge office, as well as others located elsewhere in the country.
* Reconciling bank accounts with cash book on IPS.
* Posting bank interest
* Opening pre-appointment and post-appointment bank accounts
* Liaising with the bank where issues arise.
* Occasionally visiting the bank (Birmingham or Wolverhampton) to bank cheques.
* Inputting journal entries
* VAT returns
* CT returns
* Ad hoc cashiering matters
