This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a meaningful impact on young people—helping to inspire and shape their future career paths. In this role, you’ll play a key part in administering, supporting, and coordinating North Lanarkshire Council’s Early Careers programmes. While your primary focus will be on the Summer Placement Programme, you’ll also collaborate with the wider team to support our Modern and Graduate Apprenticeships, traineeships, internships, and work experience placements. You’ll work closely with our TOD Business Partner across all services to deliver a programme that builds inclusive, accessible, and diverse talent pipelines into NLC. This is your chance to positively influence young people across our school communities and guide them towards rewarding career opportunities. We’re looking for someone with proven experience in areas such as youth work, employability, community learning and development, early careers, or HR/learning and development. You should also have a strong track record of working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be highly organised, creative, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills that inspire and influence. You’ll be self-motivated, flexible, and a strong team player. A qualification at SVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent is essential. This post is temporary for a period of 23 months.
