As a Principal Data Scientist, you will be a key individual contributor and team manager reporting to the VP of Computational Sciences & Engineering. You will lead our Data Science and Machine Learning team, focusing on therapeutic antibody optimization through innovative DS/ML tools integrated with our experimental laboratory. Your work will involve designing molecules with novel therapeutic potentials.
What You’ll Do:
1. Team Management & Development: Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering growth, technical skill enhancement, and a culture of innovation.
2. Strategic Leadership & Project Management: Collaborate on long-term data science vision, oversee multiple projects, and align initiatives with company goals.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build relationships across teams, translating technical insights into actionable strategies for senior management.
4. Innovation & Best Practices: Lead adoption of new methodologies, ensure high standards, and promote ethical data use.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experienced manager with a record of leading high-performing teams.
* Deep expertise in biomedical data science, preferably in therapeutic antibody discovery.
* Proven track record of rigorous data science work, high-quality coding, and impactful visualizations.
* Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills.
* Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in relevant fields, with significant industry experience.
* Availability to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
