Graduate Mechanical Engineer Your Opportunity Are you looking to start your career in the built environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer (2025/2026 graduate) to join a Building Services Engineering team in Cardiff as part of a structured graduate programme starting in October 2026. This is a genuine role within a live project team, offering early responsibility, hands-on experience, and exposure to clients. Youll work on a wide range of projects in a collaborative environment, with the support and development needed to build a long-term career. Projects include large residential, commercial, and industrial developments, as well as smaller schemes across sectors such as education, healthcare, manufacturing, and property development. The Role Work as part of a design team delivering detailed mechanical building services designs Use CAD and BIM (Revit) software to develop system layouts and technical drawings Design site-specific mechanical systems and equipment Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, surveyors, and contractors Attend project and technical meetings Ensure designs comply with legislation and health & safety standards Support sustainable design by advising on energy use and reducing environmental impact About You Essential: Degree or higher qualification in Building Services Engineering (or similar) Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship Strong interest in the built environment and engineering design Personal Attributes: Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced professionals Passionate about engineering and sustainability Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Join Youll be part of a supportive and collaborative environment where people are encouraged to grow and develop.
