Job Title: Head Chef
At the corner of the market, centrally located in the heart of Greenwich, The Admiral Hardy is your ideal British pub, bar, and event space, catering to families, tourists, and students alike. The site hosts two separate event spaces, a spacious pub, and a 7-bedroom hotel.
Responsibilities:
1. Overall Kitchen Management: Responsible for the successful running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
2. Operational Tasks: Control rotas, manage ordering, stock, allergens, menus, and team coordination.
3. Food Production: Oversee the preparation and service of all food leaving the kitchen.
4. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate all kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional environment.
5. Collaboration: Liaise effectively with the General Manager and FOH team to create a cohesive working environment.
6. Customer Interaction: Engage positively with customers to enhance their experience.
7. Standards & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and food safety practices, including managing deliveries and organizing the kitchen.
8. Representation: Act as an ambassador for the business, working to uphold its reputation and standards.
