Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Head of Finance to provide strategic and operational leadership across the finance function during a key period of organisational development and transformation post‑devolution. The role will lead on financial management, reporting, budgeting, audit delivery, and financial systems transformation, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and governance requirements. Responsibilities
Lead the production of quarterly budget reports and treasury management updates Manage the 2025/26 year‑end audit process Lead development of the 2026/27 budgeting cycle Support the transition from Xero to Oracle financial systems Provide expert financial advice, planning, and performance reporting
Qualifications
Fully qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent)

Significant post‑qualification finance experience Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge Experience managing budgeting processes and financial strategy Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience supporting financial systems transformation
