Our client is currently seeking a part-time, permanent Finance Manager to become a key member of their established finance team. * Ensuring accurate, up-to-date financial records in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Leading budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes.
* Producing and interpreting monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and control account reconciliations.
* Managing year-end audit processes and liaising with auditors and tax advisors to finalise statutory accounts and tax returns.
* Preparing monthly cash flow and working capital forecasts.
* Monitoring trends through monthly reporting and supporting financial decision-making.
* Continuously improving accounting systems and financial processes.
* Overseeing the sales and purchase ledger, resolving aged debt issues, credit notes, and RMAs.
* Managing quarterly VAT returns and ensuring compliance through accurate reconciliations.
* Mentoring finance team members and promoting best practice.
* Supporting payroll, pension submissions, and compliance with all payroll-related legislation.
