Senior Scientist – Antibody Discovery

Are you passionate about antibody discovery and ready to take the lead on exciting, high-impact biologics projects? We're looking for an experienced and drivenSenior Scientistto join a fast-growing, innovation-led biologics division within a leading life sciences company.
In this role, you'll play a key part in designing and executing cutting-edge antibody discovery strategies, contributing scientifically while also mentoring junior scientists and shaping project delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Design and execute antibody library construction, phage display selections, high-throughput screening (ELISA/HTS), sequence analysis, and profiling assays.
* Independently analyse and interpret complex data to inform decision-making and project direction.
* Lead or contribute to multiple discovery projects, providing scientific oversight and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Optimise existing protocols and support the development of new approaches to improve quality, efficiency, and innovation.
* Mentor and train junior scientists and support their development.
* Present findings to clients and internal stakeholders in written and verbal formats.
What We’re Looking For
* PhD (or equivalent experience) in a relevant biological science.
* Strong background in antibody discovery, including display technologies (phage display, yeast/mammalian display).
* Hands-on experience with antibody library design, screening assays, and data analysis.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and scientific rigor.
* Experience leading scientific projects or mentoring team members is a plus.
* Collaborative mindset with a flexible, agile approach to working across projects.
