The Role:
Our nationwide Plant and Tool division hires equipment including diggers, dumpers, and small hand tools for construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
As the first point of contact at our depots, Hire & Sales Coordinators (HSC) build strong customer relationships, understand hire needs, and ensure they are met. This role is fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding, offering growth opportunities within GAP Group.
A typical day includes:
• Processing hire desk administration and customer queries
• Managing 40-50 hires daily
• Ensuring stock levels meet demand and sales opportunities
• Load checking vehicles and collaborating with depot team
• Resolving customer and supplier issues efficiently
About You
Successful applicants should demonstrate:
• Experience in a high-volume hire desk role
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Strong communication, organizational, and IT skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Passion for customer service and willingness to learn, even without a plant & tool hire background
