Accounts Assistant + AAT Study
Manchester City Centre
£26,000
If you’ve just completed a 12-month apprenticeship (accounts or business admin!) or feel like you’ve outgrown your trainee role, this isn’t just a title upgrade. It’s a genuine career move, with support, mentoring, and a clear path forward.
I met with the Finance Manager and she’s amazing – don’t get me wrong, she has high expectations and needs a job well done but the amount of time she invests into her next recruit will be second to none.
Now, progression isn’t going to happen overnight so don’t expect to be a qualified accountant in the next year – but when I tell you the business is growing, I mean it – the stats don’t lie; but rather than throw you in at the deep end, they want to make sure you’re well equipped and confident in your own role before thinking of the next promotion.
If however, studying isn’t for you, maybe you absolutely hate the pressure of exams or genuinely have no interest in qualifying, this is also absolutely fine – promotions and senior roles here aren’t exclusive to those who study!
I won’t lie – this role won’t suit a wallflower; they can’t have someone who wants to shy away in the corner as this role will require picking up the phone to deal with internal and external stakeholders.
What it will suit is someone who has built up basic office/ finance experience, dipped their toes in essentially and now wants to work for an amazing brand, and around great people who will make going into the office a whole load of fun!
