Job Description & Summary

We are seeking an experienced project manager to be part of our Consulting practice. The role offers a chance to contribute to and support a variety of client engagements, helping drive project team success within the project management and change and innovation space. In this role, you will lead client engagements, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver impactful solutions that enhance asset management operations, performance, and growth. You will act as a trusted advisor to leading asset management firms, leveraging deep industry expertise and strong analytical skills to solve complex business challenges. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Financial Services or in the Asset Management industry as we continue to drive impactful change across these key sectors. Responsibilities

* Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to successfully deliver and manage projects across a range of key areas.
* Strategic Thinking: develop and implement long-term strategies aligned with client goals.
* Client Relationship Management: build and maintain trusted client partnerships.
* Financial Acumen: understand financial markets, investment products, portfolio management, and risk frameworks.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: analyse complex data sets to derive actionable insights, conduct market research, financial analysis, and risk assessments.
* Regulatory Knowledge: familiarity with asset management regulations (e.g., SEC rules, MiFID II).
* Change Management: guide clients through organisational and technological change; implement process improvements.
* Stakeholder Management: manage diverse stakeholder interests and collaborate cross-functionally.
* Leadership & Team Development: mentor, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
* Communication & Presentation: deliver compelling presentations to C-suite executives.
* Problem Solving: apply creative and analytical approaches to complex challenges.
* Project Management: manage timelines, budgets, and resources; plan, define roles, and facilitate workshops; document outcomes.
* Technology Savvy: understand fintech innovations, data analytics platforms, and automation tools.
* Negotiation: negotiate contracts, project scopes, and vendor relationships.
* Collaboration: foster a collaborative working environment across multidisciplinary teams.
* Adaptability: operate in dynamic environments and adapt strategies to market changes.
* Business Development: support and drive business development, including proposals and tenders; stay updated on industry trends.
* Identify growth opportunities and contribute to client opportunities and presentations.


Qualifications & Experience

* A third level degree with a strong academic record.
* Project Management certification and ability to apply best practices (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) to deliver results.
* Minimum of 4-8 years of relevant experience depending on level.


Skills & Competencies

* Strong Project/Programme Management with experience leading large multidisciplinary teams.
* Broad Financial Services and Asset Management industry experience.
* End-to-end project management across all life cycle stages in complex environments.
* Analytical and interpersonal skills; client service excellence.
* Multi-tasking and deadline-driven in a dynamic setting.
* Experience in business development and client proposals is advantageous.
* Engagement with C-Suite / Senior Management and effective communication.
* Big-picture thinking with attention to detail; proactive and curious mindset.
