Job Title: History Teacher

Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed and knowledgeable History Teacher to join a supportive school in Tickhill, DN11. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons to Key Stages pupils, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the events that have shaped our world.
Responsibilities as a History Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the History curriculum.
* Encourage historical enquiry and analytical skills through diverse teaching methods.
* Create a classroom environment that promotes respect, engagement, and learning.
* Prepare students for assessments and examinations, ensuring they reach their full potential.
* Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements for History Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Strong subject knowledge in History and the wider Humanities curriculum is desirable.
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* A passion for inspiring and engaging young learners.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
