Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within a furniture store.
The position requires good communication skills, reliability, and a customer-focused attitude to ensure high standards of service are consistently met.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas
* Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
* Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly after use
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
* Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning tasks
* Assist with organising cleaning schedules to ensure timely completion of duties
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address specific cleaning requirements or concerns
Experience
* Previous experience in cleaning
* Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning activities
* Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
