About The Role

* Type: Hourly / Task‑Based Contract
* Location: Remote
* Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You’ll Do
* Transcribe real‑world Air Traffic Control (ATC) and pilot audio recordings with high accuracy
* Label speakers, callsigns, clearances, readbacks, and instructions
* Correctly capture aviation terminology, abbreviations, and standard phraseology
* Complete task‑based assignments on your own schedule
* Maintain quality and accuracy standards — precision is critical on this project
Who You Are
* A pilot, student pilot, Air Traffic Controller, or aviation professional
* An aviation enthusiast who regularly listens to live or recorded ATC
* Someone with a strong working knowledge of aviation radio communications and phraseology
* Extremely detail‑oriented and comfortable working with noisy, fast‑paced audio
* Self‑motivated and reliable when working independently
You don‘t have to be a professional transcriptionist — but you do need to understand how aviation communications work.
Nice to Have
* Experience with LiveATC, PilotEdge, or VATSIM
* Background in aviation operations, dispatch, or military communications
* Familiarity with ICAO or FAA phraseology standards
