About the Role Sitting alongside the investment teams, you’ll focus on monitoring and analysing portfolio risk across a broad range of strategies, with a particular emphasis on Emerging Markets. You’ll help drive risk conversations, identify key exposures, and provide meaningful analysis to support the investment process. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring macro and market risk exposures across EM portfolios Managing risk limits and investigating breaches or anomalies Leading daily risk reviews and highlighting top portfolio risks Engaging with portfolio managers to challenge and advise on risk positioning Producing scenario and stress testing, regression analysis, and portfolio optimisation Presenting risk themes and insights to investment leadership What We’re Looking For Strong experience in a portfolio or investment risk role, ideally within an asset manager or hedge fund Essential: A solid understanding of Emerging Markets and associated risk dynamics Comfortable operating in a collaborative, front office environment with senior exposure Strong communication skills and a confident, consultative style Detail-oriented with a high level of personal integrity This role offers a unique chance to join a well-respected, well-resourced team that is truly embedded in the investment engine of the business.
