Purpose of the post:
Provide physiotherapy services to the Dons first-team squad training sessions and match days.
Key duties and responsibilities:
* Provide physio cover for training sessions on an evening and match days home and away which typically happen on a Sunday.
* Provide a quality, evidence based, and accessible medical service to all playing staff.
* Play a supportive, active part in the the coaching staff meetings, advising coaches on the availability and injury of players.
* Provide regular and accurate injury progress reports to the Head Coach.
* Ensure all players, at all times, receive the most efficient and comprehensive medical care as possible.
* Oversee the medical budget.
* Lead the medical provision for players, providing expert guidance around injuries and injury prevention.
* Plan rehabilitation programmes for injured players.
* Advise players on best exercise to perform in the Club's new state-of-the-art gym at the Elite Performance Centre.

Person specification:
Essential:
* HCPC registered physiotherapist.
* CSP member
* Work within the local area or willing to travel to training and first-team fixtures
* Relevant medical insurance to cover working with the semi-professional rugby league team
Desired:
* IMMOFP qualified
* Previously worked in a sports environment, ideally rugby league. (MSK experience essential).
