Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our team. This pivotal role supports the safeguarding team in ensuring that all students, especially those in vulnerable groups, are protected, supported and able to thrive in a safe and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will ensure our safeguarding practice meets the highest standards, working closely with pupils, families, colleagues, and external agencies, and maintaining a strong culture of vigilance and care across the school community. This role requires a strong understanding of child protection procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an environment where all children can thrive.
Responsibilities
* Support the safeguarding team in ensuring all students are protected.
* Work closely with pupils, families, colleagues, and external agencies.
* Maintain a strong culture of vigilance and care across the school community.
* Ensure safeguarding practice meets the highest standards.
* Use strong child protection procedures and communicate effectively.
Qualifications
* Subject to an enhanced DBS check.
* Positive references.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
