Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated Quarry Supervisor to join the team. The primary duty for this role will be to support the Quarry Manager with the safe and efficient management and operation of the Quarry. You will support the management of production and extraction activities, troubleshoot technical problems, and oversee planning of day-to-day operations in conjunction with other departments across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Safety will comprise a key element of the role. You will also be required to conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections and demonstrate leadership in safety.
An important element of the role will involve administrative duties, from writing reports and updating records to procurement and budget control. An ability to plan and organise work efficiently is critical.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the extractive industry, be familiar with the extractive process, with a strong focus on safety and interpersonal skills.
