Responsibilities
:
1. Reading and following detailed work instructions and component assembly drawings
2. Using a variety of hand tools, bearing press, and power tools
3. Setting and using a Torque Wrench, including witness marking
4. Operating overhead cranes and workshop equipment (training will be provided)
5. Using basic measuring tools, including Vernier calipers, micrometers, and rulers
6. Maintaining complex systems and machinery to the highest standards
Requirements:
7. Level 3 Mechanical qualification (or equivalent)
8. Strong experience in using hand tools, bearing press, and power tools
9. Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions
10. Experience with torque wrenches and understanding of witness marking principles
11. Ability to use basic measuring tools accurately
12. Previous experience in the rail industry or similar sectors is desirable but not essential
