Main duties of the job
The Post holder will be pivotal in effective leadership, expertise, advice and support within Division of Medicine to ensure through your management, leadership, expertise and advice that patients receive care that is caring, safe, effective, well led, responsive.
Some of your duties will also include:
* Ensure the multi professional team across your areas of responsibility are aware of the CQC preparations and are able to identify key risks, actions, learning and support available across the CSU and Care Group
* Engage as a professional senior nurse in the announced and un announced CQC inspection programme as a visible, credible engaging leader
* Ensure that Incident Report investigations are produced in line with PSIRF and within the agreed trajectories. That the SMART Action plan evidences a Quality Improvement approach to learning and sustaining change, ensuring you have oversight of these through your CSU Governance meeting
* Ensure that there is sustainability in relation to the achievement of the complaints completion target within your areas of responsibility and that the SMART Action plan evidences a Quality Improvement approach to learning and sustaining change, ensuring you have oversight of these through your CSU Governance meeting
* Support the Head of Nursing in the review of the systems and processes at divisional level in relation to patient and public engagement
