Job title: Supply Chain Operations Coordinator
Location: Bolton (BL3)
Hours of work: 37.5 - Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4.30pm (30 min Lunch)
Salary: £27,000 p.a
Our client is a proud independent bathroom manufacturer and distributor with a heritage of innovation and over 37 years of experience supplying leading names in bathrooms.
Main Purpose of Job:
To assist the supply chain operations team in achieving business objectives through all aspects of the supply chain.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Processing requisitions to purchase orders for selected suppliers.
2. Chasing suppliers for product to optimize availability.
3. Re-allocating stock to ensure optimum order fulfillment.
4. Rescheduling products where applicable to meet stock targets.
5. Reporting stock outs, stock levels, and supplier issues.
6. Managing supplier orderbooks.
7. Maintaining system information and parameters.
8. Creating and managing inbound deliveries, ensuring accurate delivery dates.
9. Managing internal and subcontracted production orders.
10. Ensuring effective communication with internal customers, providing relevant information.
11. Liaising with suppliers and customers.
Skills, Knowledge, and Personal Attributes:
* Knowledge of SAP (preferable but not essential).
* Experience in supply chain or logistics (preferable).
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and Word at an intermediate level.
* Confident with strong interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
* Holidays – 22 days, increasing to 25 after 3 years of service.
