Sales Coordinator I am working with a global, well-established and family-run (minus the family politics!) business within the automotive industry – more specifically commercial vehicle supply and export. Passionate about quality and committed to excellent customer service, my client has continued to grow consistently over the past 30 years. With the business going from strength to strength, this is a really exciting time to join the team, and they are now looking for someone new to support their busy sales department. £25k - £35k DOE 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday 1 weekend a month on a rota basis (time-and-a-half; remote/very relaxed) Role As the Sales Coordinator, you will join the existing team who are friendly and collaborative and play an integral part and be the first point of contact for all customers – whether this is in person, over the phone, via email or WhatsApp. In addition to the above, as the Sales Coordinator, typical duties will also include: Liaising with customers world-wide through various means of communication (you will not be required to speak any additional languages. The majority of customers are English-speaking, or communications are translated using a translator). Advertising and uploading new stock on the website – including photos and written detail. Looking after the key system – there can be over 900 vehicle keys to keep a track of, so signing keys in and out is a task in itself! General administration, i.e., filing logbooks, completing vehicle paperwork, scanning documents etc. As well as receiving and managing inbound enquiries, you will also contact sales leads to retrieve and pass on relevant information requested – there is no hard sales/or targets relating to this – all details will be passed on to the sales team. Keep systems and customer details up to date maintaining confidentiality/GDPR. Work collaboratively with the wider office team, assisting with ad hoc tasks when circumstances dictate. Assist with the hand-over of sales. Requirements To be successfully shortlisted for the position of Sales Coordinator, you will have previous customer service/sales support/sales administration experience or similar, and you will also naturally present a proactive, dedicated and service-driven approach. In addition to the above, to be successful as the Sales Coordinator, requirements include: IT proficient and must be able to use Samsung/Android technology, as well as Microsoft /Microsoft Office Proven ability to work reactively and multi-task effectively when required. Excellent writing skills – good level of grammar, spelling and punctuation. Be able to work fast paced, but still accurately. A flexible, team-focused attitude to working – happy to lend a helping-hand, offer advice etc. when needed. Personable and confident personality, and someone who genuinely enjoys speaking to/interacting with others!
