Meraki Talent is delighted to be supporting a growing international recreation firm on their search for a qualified, part qualified or QBE accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will support the finance manager in the preparation of management and year end accounts as well as assisting across the finance team. Duties to include:
* Support the production of monthly management reports, including commentary and variance analysis
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Prepare journals at month end accruals, deferrals, and adjustments
* Maintain and monitor balances for trade receivables and payables, producing regular reports
* Manage supplier settlements, including scheduled payment runs and one‑off payments
* Complete VAT submissions
* Assist with year‑end audit
* Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, systems, and reporting processes, making recommendations where appropriate
What is on Offer:
* Up to £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Candidate Profile:
* Management accounts experience
* Qual, PQ or QBE considered
* Proficient Microsoft Office and accounts software SAGE/XERO or similar
