Role: Operations Manager
We are seeking an Operations Manager to be a vital part of our management team covering the Central belt of Scotland. The Operations Manager provides visionary leadership, ensuring high standards of product quality, productivity, and overall efficiency. Responsibilities include overseeing labour management, making key policy decisions, and maintaining quality and safety controls.
1. Oversee daily management of employees, addressing engagement and relations issues in accordance with company policies.
2. Mobilise new security contracts, ensuring all paperwork is complete.
3. Provide coverage for sickness, holidays, and emergencies.
4. Manage a portfolio of client sites, ensuring high service standards.
5. Review Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments for sites.
6. Conduct employment reviews for staff performance and development.
7. Recruit, interview, train, and coach staff.
8. Perform site visits, incident reports, and welfare checks.
9. Liaise with the Operations team for seamless operations.
10. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
11. Complete site audits and resolve issues promptly.
12. Foster a positive work environment and team collaboration.
13. Implement strategies for operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
* Valid SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)
* Operational experience in multi-site or area management
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Flexibility to work out of hours
* Full UK driving licence
* Five-year verifiable work history
