We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Catering Assistant to provide high-quality food service across our college sites. You will play a key role in preparing and serving food and drinks, maintaining excellent hygiene standards, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
Actual Salary: £13,810.92 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (9:00am - 2:00pm) 25 hours a week

Essential Criteria
* Relevant Food Hygiene qualification (or willingness to work towards)
* Recent experience in a similar catering role
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to work flexibly across sites and as part of a team
* Experience of food preparation, cooking and service

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of food, snacks and drinks within on-site catering facilities
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in kitchen and dining areas
* Provide prompt, efficient and friendly service to customers
* Report customer requests and complaints promptly to the Catering Manager
* Work collaboratively with the catering team and support wider Estates and Facilities services
