Job Title: Showroom Sales – Bathroom Showroom

Most showroom roles focus on design, customer service and keeping the space looking right. This one is built around performance.
At HPS Chichester you’ll work in a showroom that run’s like its own business. You’ll have real ownership over how it performs and directly benefit from that performance through a profit share model that rewards commercial thinking, not just activity.
You’ll still be designing bathrooms, guiding customers and managing projects from enquiry through to order. But you’ll also be responsible for how the showroom grows. That means building relationships with local installers, driving new business, increasing average order values and making decisions that improve margin.
You’ll have the autonomy to shape the showroom, influence product ranges, control how you engage customers and build a local presence that keeps you front‑of‑mind for our clients.
We operate as part of the UK’s largest independent network of plumbing and heating merchants with over 310 sites nationwide. Each site runs with real autonomy, you’re not just following a script or waiting for instructions from head office. You’re making commercial decisions, influencing stock, working with suppliers and getting involved in anything that drives sales and margin.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Take responsibility for the day‑to‑day performance of the bathroom showroom
* Work with both retail customers and trade professionals from initial enquiry through to completed sale
* Build strong relationships with local installers to generate consistent referral business
* Drive new business through local marketing, outreach and repeat customer engagement
* Influence pricing, product selection and supplier relationships to maximise margin
* Maintain a high‑quality showroom environment that inspires customers and supports sales
* Use sales data and performance insight to make informed commercial decisions
What We’re Looking For
This role suits someone who understands that a showroom isn’t just about design, it’s about sales, relationships and commercial performance.
You might currently be a:
* Showroom Manager
* Bathroom Designer
* Kitchen Showroom Sales Manager
* Sales within a design‑led environment
You’ll bring:
* Experience within a bathroom, kitchen, or a similar showroom environment
* Strong sales ability with a focus on conversion, margin and customer journey
* A commercial mindset with confidence around pricing, suppliers and performance
* The ability to build relationships with both retail customers and trade professionals
* A proactive approach to generating business, not just waiting for footfall
* CAD experience (e.g. Virtual Worlds) is useful but not essential
* A full UK driving licence
